An automated weather station requires annual maintenance to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely data. The weather station has moving and sensitive parts exposed to all environmental and weather conditions. Sometimes problems are easily seen, such as very low evapotranspiration calculations; but many times problems are hidden, such as a slow response to changing weather conditions or an intermittent sensor failure. Depending on the problem, these parts can be adjusted, repaired, or replaced. In addition to on-site calibration and service, we also have Weather Station Parts available.

MeasureTek will install, repair, and/or replace any malfunctioning weather station component within 12 months of station service. This includes the installation services of replacing batteries, station sensors, and station communication modems. It does not include the cost of parts, or services or repairing/replacing communication wiring or power service.

If we do not have the parts to fix a station problem on-site, we'll return free-of-charge to replace the item(s) in question.
